Sugar Shimmers Business Policy

At Sugar Shimmers, we are committed to providing high-quality bakery products to our customers. To ensure clarity and mutual understanding, we have established the following business policies. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Allergy Disclaimer

We use common baking ingredients such as dairy, nuts, eggs, and other potential allergens in our products. While we take great care in handling our ingredients, cross-contamination may occur, and we cannot guarantee that any product is entirely free of allergens. Customers are responsible for reviewing and understanding the ingredients used in their orders before purchasing. Sugar Shimmers will not be held liable for any allergic reactions or health-related issues arising from the consumption of our products.

2. Order Confirmation and Payment Terms   

  • Advance Payment Requirement: All orders require a 50% advance payment at the time of booking to confirm the order. Without this payment, your order will not be processed.
  • Non-Refundable Advance: Once we begin working on your order, the advance payment is strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.   
  • Full Payment Before Pickup/Delivery: The remaining balance must be settled prior to or at the time of pickup or delivery.

3. Cancellations and Returns     

Cancellation Policy:   

  • Orders canceled before the preparation process begins will not require further payment.   
  • However, orders canceled after the preparation process has started will forfeit the advance payment as compensation for the materials and time invested.

Custom Orders:     

  • Custom and personalized orders are non-returnable under any circumstances. This includes cakes, desserts, and any products made specifically to your design, flavor, or size requirements.     

Return Policy:     

  • Once a product leaves the shop premises, it is considered delivered and is non-returnable unless a written agreement is provided in advance to permit a return under special circumstances.

4. Pickup and Delivery    

  • Once the cake or any other product has left our bakery, whether picked up by the customer or delivered to the specified location, we will no longer accept the product back.   
  • We recommend that customers inspect their orders upon receipt to ensure satisfaction. Any issues must be addressed immediately at the time of pickup or delivery.

5. Changes to Orders     

  • Once an order is confirmed, no changes can be made to the design, flavor, size, or any other aspects of the product. This ensures we can deliver your order on time and as promised.

6. Product Information and Client Responsibility     

  • Sugar Shimmers provides detailed information regarding our bakery products, ingredients, and customization options to customers prior to order confirmation.     
  • By confirming an order, customers agree that they have reviewed and approved all product details, including but not limited to design, flavor, size, and ingredients.

7. Liability

Sugar Shimmers is not responsible for any damages or issues arising after the product has left our premises, including but not limited to mishandling, improper storage, or accidents during transportation by the customer or their representative.

8. Agreement to Policy

By placing an order with Sugar Shimmers, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy. This ensures a smooth and professional transaction for both parties.
